How we manufacture packaging bags

Purchase Materials

Purchase Materials

We purchase materials at the same time when making cylinders. The main materials we use are: BOPP, CPP, VMCPP, PET, VMPET, KPET, Aluminum foil, LLDPE,  White LLDPE, BOPA. Different bags need different material combination. Usually are: BOPP/CPP, BOPP/VMCPP, PET/LLDPE, PET/VMPET/LLDPE, PET/AL/LLDPE and so on .


Make Cylinders

Make Cylinders

Cylinders, some customers also call” Copper Plates”. They are the mould to do printing. Each color needs one cylinder. If the design artwork is 5 colors, then need 5 cylinders. It takes about 5 days to make cylinders. 


Design& Order Confirmation

Design& Order Confirmation

Customers send us the design artworks in AI(Adobe Ilustrator), PS(Photoshop), PDF or Corel Draw formats. Our designers check the artworks and make proof to customers for final confirmation.


Printing

Printing

We do Rotogravure printing, roto or gravure for short. It’s a type of intaglio printing process, which involves engraving the image onto cylinders. We have 3 sets 8 colors printing machines and 2 sets 10 colors printing machines. The maximum width of printing is 1350mm, can print 300 meters per minute.


Lamination

Lamination

We do dry lamination and solventless lamination. Lamination uses glue to bond two or more layers films together. This can increase the tear strength. Oxygen and moisture barrier are much better than one layer material bag. Different products need different materials lamination. When printing is between the layers films, instead of on the surface, it is much more safer, because your product will not contact with the printing ink directly.


Slitting

If make two or more bags on the cylinder, we need to slit the large roll to be small roll before make the bag
